We are incredibly excited to welcome Joan Lentini to The Collected Space Gallery. Joan has a remarkable ability to see the beauty in the world around her and transform what she captures through her lens into something truly extraordinary. Her fine-art photography goes far beyond simply documenting a place or a moment. Joan K. Lentini is an award-winning photographer whose lens has never stopped searching for truth, beauty, and the quiet moments that define a life. With more than two decades behind the camera, her career began in the demanding world of photojournalism at The Post-Star, an Upstate New York newspaper where she honed the instincts that would shape everything that followed — the ability to see a moment before it happens, to find the soul of a subject, and to tell a story without a single word.
From the newsroom, Joan's eye turned to the intimate — weddings, portraits, and events where she discovered a different kind of truth. The candid joy of a first dance. The quiet pride in a parent's gaze. The unguarded moment that reveals everything. Portrait work deepened her understanding of light, connection, and the extraordinary that hides inside the ordinary. It was a natural evolution — from capturing the world as it was, to capturing people as they truly are.
